Tourniquets
Tourniquets are an input-output device, designed for two-way controlled passage of people, to access control. It consists two columns, box, mechanism and tripod. The column, box and the tripod are from stainless steel.
The mechanism is a double lock device with locking thumbs, powered by electromagnets. The locking cam and the thumbs are from stainless steel with high hardness for high wear resistance.
In the absence of power, turnstile is unlocked in both directions.
Supply voltage to the electromagnets is 12 V / 0.3 A, so that the total power consumption is 0.6 A at steady state.
The base plate is terminal, on which are displayed both solenoids and electromagnetic sensors, serving control the position of the tripod.
Turnstile can be equipped with electronics, providing its lock as soon as the man pass.
